So sorry I haven’t posted anything these two weeks. Been setting up my company’s instagram account.
My motivation is to bring more documentary, conservation and reportage photography to your timeline’s. I mean, don’t you get bored after ten sunsets, a cappuccino and a cat?!
Please follow @enigma_images for photography with a lil’ bit of soul :-)

Africa’s biggest hurdle isn’t war, corruption or sickness. It’s the uncertain food security.
The issue isn’t the lack of arable land or of processing points. It’s what’s inbetween.
Farmers harvest crop but it does not get to markets.
This causes the prices of food to go up..which causes governments to import surplus..which kills the local economy. All the while, food is rotting in storage in the country.
I am starting to believe that cartels that control distribution from farm to fork are to blame because they are the only ones who benefit with cheap farm prices yet high supermarket prices from a weak economy.
But that’s just me.

[IMAGE 4] No words can express the joy of a negative result after an HIV test.
The officer hugs Sgt Pauline Wanjiru with pure joy for she had been with her through the entire process.
I salute Sgt Wanjiru for her efforts. She is a Soldier of Hope

[IMAGE 3] The hardest thing in earth is waiting for the results of an HIV test.
Thank God for people like Sgt Pauline Wanjiru who had prepared this officer for her results. Nonetheless, it still caused her to sit alone and resolve to take control and responsibility over herself and her actions.
Sgt Pauline Wanjiru is this week’s Soldier of Hope.

[IMAGE 2] After Sgt Pauline Wanjiru has had an extensive discussion with an officer over the results of an AIDS test, she stands by them as they go through it.
'I went to my AIDS test all alone. There was no-one to stand with me when I found out I was positive. Eventhough I didn't do anything drastic, it would've been nice to have someone with me'
That’s why she is a Soldier of Hope.
